Modern Family

This modern model home was designed for a new community an hour north of the city of Toronto. Not exactly known for being at the forefront of fashion, Kelly wanted to prove that Canadian’s love for great design extends past the hustle and bustle of busy cities. The home was designed for a modern family who love to entertain family and friends and treat is as an art-form.

The master bedroom showed Kelly’s fearlessness with using bold palettes. While true to her love of neutrals, the high-contrast black and white area rugs juxtapose perfectly with the shimmering charcoal wall paper. The black drapes are a dramatic statement lighted by the expansive vaulted ceilings. The sitting area is a welcoming retreat at the end of the day and a reminder that space is the ultimate luxury.
